Earthquake!!!!!
So how many of you felt the earthquake? (comment below) I sure felt it. So I was doing math homework on my bed, and I feel my room swaying back and forth and back and forth. I look around and everything is tipping around, so, I run downstairs and tell my parents that my room was swaying. I don't think that they believed me, because nobody else in my family felt it, so I went upstairs and listen to the radio, and i had myself convinced that i had made it up when the guy on the radio says :" did anyone else feel that, it felt like an earthquake." and i was like :
you felt it too?????????????????????
So I had to run down again and tell my parents, so we turned on the news, and, it was an earthquake, so i had to freak out for a while. First Earthquake!!!!!!!
When was your first earthquake ? (if you have never had one then tell another interesting first) Thanks! Hoping for no aftershock!

Sadly, I did not feel the earthquake, though I was still probably on Riverside Dr. when it hit!
ReplyDeleteLuckily, things here in ME are no worse for the wear...the leaves, the mountains, the ocean are all still beautiful.
I am 44 and have never felt an earthquake. You are 12, and you have already felt one right in your own room! (Does that make you lucky or unlucky?) Not sure about an interesting first...perhaps that time I was camping in an intense thunder and lightening storm and the lightening was coming so fast it was like a strobe light. The strobe light lit up each individual rain drop - so it looked like all these bright white dots falling in strobe. It was pretty cool. What a storm...
